Doctors bar Cris Cyborg from cut to 135

With the news that the UFC had signed Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate, talk immediately turned to Cris "Cyborg" Santos, who can apply in January for a license to fight, following a year suspension for PED use.
However, Cyborg's camp has said that following a meeting with her doctors, Santos will not be able to make the 135 lb weight division.
Santos met with her doctors recently to see about a possible move down to 135lbs, so that she could eventually and hopefully meet Rousey inside the UFC Octagon.

She was told that a cut to 135lbs would just not be safe based on her personal physical health. Her cardiologist stated emphatically that he would not sign off on a move down a weight class based on her current health.

The dangers to her body could also prohibit Santos from carrying a child later in life, and according to her camp, that was a risk the former Strikeforce champion was unwilling to make for any fight.
