Exciting UFC lightweight, Charles Oliveira is set to stay a part of the Las Vegas based promotion’s roster for the foreseeable future after it was revealed he’s been served with a new four-fight contract in the last week.
The news was passed along to MMAJunkie.com by a source close to the situation, explaining the Brazilian has verbally accepted and will likely sign in the next week.
Oliveira’s promising start to his octagon career was halted when he was submitted by Jim Miller via heel hook. He was next disqualified for an illegal knee against Nik Lentz in a fight that he was well and truly on his way to winning before getting pounded out earlier this month by Donald Cerrone in the very first round. He is expected to make the move down to featherweight shortly.
