Matt Mitrione targets fights against Ben Rothwell or Cheick Kongo after posting his fourth straight win

UFC heavyweight slugger, Matt Mitrione has been speaking about who he might want to fight after posting his fourth straight win since joining the ranks of the Las Vegas based promotion, with former IFL star, Ben Rothwell and Wolfslair MMA Academy fighter, Cheick Kongo at the top of the list.
Speaking via MMAJunkie.com, Mitrione said:
“I’m really starting to find out what my body wants to fight like. Most people get it out of the way in their amateur fights, but my amateur fights are my pro fights. I’m learning what my athleticism will let me get away with.”
“If Joe Silva calls me up and thinks I’m ready, let’s do it. Guys like Rothwell and Kongo, those both would be fun fights. I think fans would want to see both. They’re both big names. I understand there’s a hierarchy. But I’m still going to have a good time.”
Mitrione is currently undefeated at 4-0 overall in his mixed martial arts career, with each win coming under the UFC’s banner. Stoppage wins over Marcus Jones, “Kimbo Slice” and Tim Hague has thrust Mitrione into the spotlight in the heavyweight division and could mean an even bigger fight down the line.
