UFC heavyweight, Mirko Cro Cop has hit back at the insults levied at him by middleweight trash-talker, Chael Sonnen earlier this year, explaining he’s not mad at him but he calls him crazy nevertheless. Speaking via Fighters Only Magazine, Cro Cop said:
“I never usually like to reply to such insults. There is an old saying, don’t talk with an idiot in case you also look like one. But I asked some people in America, who is this guy? They said he is mad and just looking to promote himself. I am not mad at him – you can see on his face that he is ‘limited’ [mentally]. Its obvious that he is crazy.”
“I repeat – I am not angry at him. The things he is saying only make sense to him. He has a degree in being an idiot.”
Cro Cop has never found his feet since making the switch to the UFC’s octagon, failing to pick up a win against anyone considered to be a contender in the heavyweight division at the time. His last loss was a third round TKO defeat at the hands of Brendan Schaub. He’ll face “Ultimate Fighter” season ten winner, Roy Nelson at UFC 137 on October 29th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
