"I'm looking to hopefully fight Jake Shields to get that loss back. Now with the Strikeforce merger, possibly Nick Diaz. I was supposed to fight Paul Daley a while back. I got staph infection in my hand and had to pull out of the fight. There's some unfinished business there. I like that fight. I'm still waiting to hear (who my next opponent will be). I think there's some good welterweight fights coming up. When those happen, it will clear up the picture a little bit, and I might have a better idea."-- At a Q&A yesterday, welterweight top contender Carlos Condit was asked what the future holds. If it's up to him, it will be a line-up of guys that represent the elite of the division. After injuring his knee, he was forced to pull out of his UFC 127 match-up against the always dangerous Chris Lytle. "Lights Out" would go on to lose to Brian Ebersole, taking him out of the running and sending him back down the ladder. So who's next for "The Natural Born Killer?" He laid out three options: Jake Shields, Nick Diaz and Paul Daley. All three are currently booked but once they settle their business in the cage, should the UFC set him up against any of that trio? Which one? Or is there another, better option, for the 170-pounder who is surely one or two fights away from a title shot?
