DREAM featherweight champion, Hiroyuki Takaya officially added to the Strikeforce card on April 9th

DREAM’s featherweight champion, Hiroyuki Takaya has today been confirmed for the untelevised preliminary card portion of the Strikeforce card set to go down April 9^th in San Diego, California, taking on local prospect, Robert Peralta on the night.
Strikeforce Director of Communications Mike Afromowitz confirmed the news to Sherdog.com earlier today, bringing the total of high profile Japanese born fighters to three.
Takaya doesn’t have fond memories of competing in the United States after he notched a 0-2 spell with the WEC. Since then he’s put together a 6-2 run which included wins over Joachim Hansen, Chase Beebe and Bibiano Fernandes to capture the title.
