Diego Sanchez and Martin Kampmann talk up a possible rematch between them on Twitter

“Ultimate Fighter” season one winner, Diego Sanchez and the last man to oppose him inside the octagon, Martin Kampmann, have been speaking about the possibility of a rematch between the two of them after their first fight ended somewhat controversially, and it seems both of them would be willing to do it again next.
Sanchez responded to Kampmann’s initial request of a rematch saying:
“You really want a direct rematch? I trained no boxing! Zero! I just wrestled my ass off. I underestimated your takedown defense and had to resort to my street-fighting loco skills and almost dropped you; I seen your legs. I was not in my best shape.”
“Plus you just lost two in a row you need to get a W then we can talk rematch. Your punches had snap to cut but no power. If we fight again it will be a even better fight. If it happens it happens your always a fun fight.”
Kampmann quickly responded saying:
“Almost dropped me??? Nah, as far as I remember you where the only one that got dropped. Wise up.”
Sanchez was last to go when he said:
“If I can’t get a better fight that a win would move me up the ladder, I would love to fight you again!”
The pair took home a record breaking $160,000 each in bonus money after UFC President, Dana White labelled it “one of those fights I’ll never forget”. Will the promotion look to make this fight next time out after many fans and critics felt “The Hitman” had done enough to deserve the nod on the night?
