The Victory Fighting Championship returns to the Mid
America Center on October 14th to deliver a card packed with the Midwest’s brightest talent and promising to be a night of nonstop MMA action.  The main event will determine who leaves with the coveted  VFC 155lb Title.  When asked about this fight, VFC Owner Ryan Stoddard said ,”This fight features the two TOP Prospects at 155 that are  unsigned by a national level promotion.”  The Victory Fighting Championship prides itself on being the best “feeder” organization in the Midwest, with this fight being a prime example.

That evening, Joe Ellenberger(12-0) looks to complete his comeback by putting the 155lb belt back around his waist at the end of the night.  Joe’s absence from the sport and subsequent comeback has been well documented by now, and leaving that night with the VFC lightweight belt will be the perfect way to show he’s come full circle.  Being so close to the belt that was once his, Joe will definitely be coming fight hard and go home with the belt.
Standing in his way is the well rounded arsenal of Justin Salas(10-3).  Justin, a standout wrestler at Wyoming, has shown he has a number of ways to end a fight.  Salas has victories over some of the toughest competition in the Midwest, including UFC vet Rob Emerson.  With the VFC belt on the line, Justin will be looking to prove he’s the best lightweight in the Midwest.
Also on the card will be the hard hitting Vito Agosta, Promising to keep the momentum going on his resurgent MMA career.  After a self-imposed layoff from the sport, Vito recently returned to the VFC and is looking to keep climbing up the 135lb ladder.  Always a force, Vito wants to prove he belongs in the title hunt at 135.
Submission specialist Brandon Pfannensteil(1-0) will also be looking to showcase his skills in the 145lb division.  Brandon recently made his pro debut with victory via armbar, and with a 5-1 record as an amateur with all those victories coming by a variety of submissions.
Mirsad Bektic(1-0) can cement his position in the stacked 145lb division by, once again,  pushing the relentless pace that made him such a feared force as an amateur.  Undefeated as a both a pro and an amateur, Mirsad has never had a fight go to the cards.  The American Top Team prospect is poised to continue that streak and ensure everyone remembers the name Mirsad Bektic by the end of the night.
Kicking off the night, and making his pro debut, is The Heavy Handed and Boxing specialist Brian “B-Hue” Houston.  Brian posted a 7-1 record as an amateur, with only one of his victories going to decision.  Always hunting for the KO, Brian will be looking to make sure the night starts off with a bang.
Victory Fighting Championship remains the premier mixed martial arts promotion of the region featuring the best up and coming talent from the Omaha, Kansas City, and Denver areas.  Victory Fighting Championship fans have seen the emergence of such fighters as Abe Wagner,  Spencer Fisher, Ryan Jensen, Jorge Gurgel, Josh Neer, Kevin Burns, Jake Ellenberger, Jason Brilz, Nick Mamalis, Rob Kimmons, Chris Camozzi, Ben Henderson, and Travis Browne.
