UFC 134 – Luis “Beicao” Ramos steps in to face Erick Silva on the preliminary card in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

It has today been revealed that South-American Shooto champion, Luis “Beição” Ramos will replace Mike Swick against Erick Silva on the preliminary card of UFC 134 on August 27th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
A source close to the situation revealed the news to Tatame Magazine earlier today although there has been no official word from the UFC as yet.
Ramos has strung together three wins in a row to earn his spot inside the octagon, all of them on the same night at the WOCS’s Grand-Prix. The talented Brazilian has won ten of his last twelve fights making him one to watch in this fight for sure.
Silva, a training partner of UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva and former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Rafael Cavalcante and currently the Jungle Fights champion, is undefeated in the past five years, with a record of eleven wins and only one loss
