It has today been revealed that former Strikeforce welterweight title contender,
Paul “Semtex” Daley has been cleared to compete on the
BAMMA 7 card set for September 10
th in Birmingham, England.
The news comes via TheFightLounge.co.uk who spoke to a source close to the situation earlier today. Daley’s opponent at this time remains a mystery. The fighter himself confirmed the news as well via his Twitter, commmenting:
“The news is out, Yes people i will be fighting at BAMMA 7, Sept 10th in Birmingham. The fight was on, off, on, off…and now its ON…..Im ready to go, been getting my mental focus on, now we ready to go!!!!!!!!!!”
Strikeforce have cleared the Brit to compete as he doesn’t feature in their plans for the remainder of 2011. The knockout artist was last seen in action just a few short months ago when he was stopped by then champion, Nick Diaz in the first round via TKO.
