UFC on Versus 6 – Mac Danzig vs. Matt Wiman II announced for October 1st event

The fights just keep on coming this week from the worlds number one mixed martial arts promotion after a lightweight battle featuring “Ultimate Fighter” season six winner, Mac Danzig and the man who controversially beat him last year, Matt Wiman.
The news was announced by UFC officials earlier today for the UFC on Versus 6 card, an event that is expected to go down on October 1^st although no location has been revealed as yet.
Danzig will be looking to avenge his UFC 115 defeat to Wiman last June which saw referee Yves Lavigne step in far too quickly to award Wiman the win via technical submission. Danzig jumped to his feet immediately to contest the decision proving he was far from out.
Wiman will no doubt be keen to set the record straight once and for all, as well as get back to winning ways himself after coming up short handed against Dennis SIver at UFC 132 earlier this month. The loss snapped a three-fight winning streak.
