Round one: Cruz with a big right hand to begin with. Cruz connects again before Faber gets the clinch and takes his back. Cruz escapes but he eats a punch. Cruz lands a couple of nice kicks as the two men exchange often. Cruz is getting the better of the stand-up easily at this point. Faber charges in and decks Cruz with a straight right. Cruz pops back up and circles away. Faber catches Cruz with a left after exiting a clinch. Nice leg kick from Cruz lands followed by an uppercut. Nice leg kick from Cruz lands. Faber shoots in and puts Cruz up against the fence. Cruz breaks free but he eats a couple of shots. Cruz jumps in with a wild flying knee before Faber wrestles him to the ground on the bell. Round two: Right hand from Faber early before shooting in. Cruz shrugs him off eventually. Nice left from Cruz followed by a swift combination. Cruz with the leg kick as he stays busy. Faber lands with an overhand right but Cruz soon comes back with a series of kicks. Cruz swings for the fences in a couple of exchanges but nothing lands. Cruz with the kicks to the legs and body. He could be getting tired. Faber lands a big uppercut at the same time Cruz lands. Faber lands again and drops Cruz to his back. The champ is soon back to his feet and soon secures a takedown. Round three: Both men exchange kicks to begin. Cruz with a nice right hand. Hard flying knee to the gut by Cruz lands. The two exchange and Faber gets the better of it. Cruz with a nice left uppercut as he turns it on, firing off a head kick to end the exchange. Cruz stuffs the takedown. Faber shoots in again and gets the takedown but Cruz reverses the situation in the scramble. Both men return to the feet and Faber lands on the exit. Straight right from Cruz lands. Cruz ducks under the punches from Faber and lands another straight right. Faber fires back with one of his own. Round four: The two exchange early on in the fourth round, neither man gets the upper hand. Cruz lands a big right hand and staggers Faber for a second. Faber lands a big right hand which drops the champ to his back. Cruz quickly up again and shoots in but Faber shrugs him off. The two continue to exchange with Faber starting to get the better of things for the first time. Cruz with the knee before flurrying in. Cruz lands a body kick. Cruz looks for the takedown but Faber shrugs him off nicely. Nice right from Cruz lands. Faber scores with a couple of nice rights. Round five: Flying knee to the face by Cruz before shooting in for the takedown. Faber shrugs him off. Cruz throws a Superman punch before shooting in and getting a momentary takedown. Cruz has him pressed up against the fence. Faber with the knee but Cruz dumps him on his back. Faber gets up and snatches his neck but Cruz gets free. Faber misses with a punch and Cruz gets the takedown. Faber gets back up soon later. Right hand by Cruz before securing another takedown. Faber back up but Cruz stays on him pressing him up against the fence. The two separate and swing for the fences. Faber with an ugly head-kick attempt. The pair up the pace in the final minute with Cruz landing two takedowns and a knee to the head. Cruz has Faber against the fence but the challenger gets free. Wanderlei Silva vs. Chris Leben (185-pound division limit)
Round one: Both men cautious before Leben lands a kick and is countered by Silva. Silva recklessly wades in with a flurry of punches but Leben nails him from the clinch and drops him to the deck. Leben lands a series of punches to the face of Wanderlei on the ground and it is all over.
Final result: Chris Leben, (T)KO, 1st round.
Dennis Siver vs. Matt Wiman (155-pound division limit)
Round two: Wiman looks for the takedown early in the second, pushing Siver up against the fence. Wiman stays relentless on the takedown attempt and eventually gets it. Wiman goes to work with elbows from top position as he puts in a dominant round. Wiman continues to score, bloodying Siver up in the process with big elbows from above. He tries to improve his position but he’s shut down. MMABay scores the round 10-9 Wiman.
Round three: Siver looks for the uppercut but it only gives Wiman a chance to shoot in, pushing him up against the fence. Siver gets free and starts to tee off with kicks again. Good low kick from Wiman lands. Wiman with a nice looping overhand right. Wiman shoots in again looking for the takedown up against the fence. Siver turns him around with ninety seconds left but it gives Wiman the chance to drop down for a guillotine. Siver gets free of that and an omoplata and gets back to his feet. Wiman sweeps the German’s leg and gets the takedown but Siver gets back to his feet. Siver lands the head kick and Wiman goes down, more due to being off balance than anything else. The pair scramble and Wiman ends the fight on top. MMABay scores the round 10-9 Siver.

Tito Ortiz vs. Ryan Bader (205-pound division limit)

Carlos Condit vs. Dong Hyun Kim (170-pound division limit)
Round one: Condit with a front kick early on. Kim looks to land a surprising high kick but it’s blocked. Condit attempts to flurry in but Kim uses it to secure the takedown. Condit sweeps him impressively into the mount but Kim gets back to his feet. Interesting exchange. Both men more cautious now they’re back up, throwing kicks from distance. Condit lands a nice left hand before scoring with a low kick. Kim misses with a punch and Condit moves in, landing a big flying knee which drops Kim to the ground. Condit scores with repeated punches until Kim goes limp. Wow!
Final result: Carlos Condit, (T)KO, 1st round.

George Sotiropoulos vs. Rafael dos Anjos (155-pound division limit)
Round one: Dos Anjos looks lively to begin the fight with Sotiropoulos following him around the octagon. Dos Anjos dives in with a nice combo before blasting the Aussie with a big right hook which drops him to the mat. Dos Anjos looks to jump on top of him but the referee gets there first and breaks it up. Big win for Dos Anjos.
Final result: Dos Anjos, KO, 1st round.
Brian Bowles vs. Takeya Mizugaki (135-pound division limit)
Round two: Mizugaki times him with a right to begin the second before landing the kick. Bowles starts to attack from range more as he tries to work out the tricky Japanese fighter. The two continue to exchange strikes on the feet before Bowles catches a kick and drops Mizugaki with a right hand. Bowles quickly takes his back and looks for the choke. Bowles continues to work for the clinch but Mizugaki does a good job of fighting him off until the bell. MMABay scores the round 10-9 Bowles.
Round three: Bowles clinches with Mizugaki and pushes him up against the fence where he goes to work with knees. The two continue to exchange positions against the fence before Mizugaki breaks free. Bowles shoots in and takes the fight to the ground. As Mizugaki gets back up Bowles jumps on his back. Bowles seems happy to hang out there for the time being. There referee separates them controversially. Mizugaki pushes forward looking to land as he knows he needs to turn the tide. Mizugaki lands the right hand and a Superman punch before the bell sounds. Aaron Simpson vs. Brad Tavares (185-pound division limit)
Round two: Tavares lands a couple of bug shots to open the second but gets over eager and Simpson secures the clinch and will look for the takedown. Tavares turns him around up against the fence and looks for a takedown of his own. Tavares hoists him up and dumps him on his back but Simpson is straight up and lands a knee. Simpson shoves him up against the fence and looks for the submission. Tavares escapes and gets back to his feet but Simpson is staying on him. The round ends. MMABay scores the round 10-9 Tavares.
Round three: Simpson looks for the takedown again but Tavares lands some nice strikes. Again Simpson shoots in but Tavares stuffs it nicely. Simpson has good position up against the fence but he can’t take his opponent down. Simpson takes his back and looks to land the knees before tripping Tavares down. Tavares gets back up but Simpson keeps him shoved up against the fence. The referee separates them with time running out. Tavares swings but Simpson takes him down with ease and looks for the choke. He wails away before the two get back to their feet. MMABay scores the round 10-9 Simpson.

Round one: Njokuani with a lot of air shots early as they feel each other out. Nice combination from Njokuani seems to rock Winner a little. Spinning back elbow from Njokuani but it’s blocked. Nice low kick from Njokuani before he lands the knee. Both men exchange kicks with Njokuani getting the better of it. Njokuani with a nice uppercut as Winner comes in. Njokuani with a big left which rocks Winner and he tees off with a series of elbows and knees up against the fence. Incredible that Winner is still standing with the amount of punishment he’s taking. Njokuani with the takedown but both men soon return to the feet. MMABay scores the round 10-8 Njokuani.
Round two: Njokuani looks calm coming into the second round and lands a head kick. The pair tie up but nothing doing. Njokuani blasts him with a big combination while moving forward which once again hurts the Brit. Winner gets off the fence but Njokuani lands a nice uppercut to the body before getting a partial takedown. Winner with a nice left hook which lands. Winner blocks a big left high kick from his opponent. Njokuani spins and misses this time. Njokuani keeps Winner at bay with a series of rangy kicks and punches before the round ends. Round three: Njokuani with a series of low kicks early in the final round. Winner throws a head kick which doesn’t miss by much. Njokuani with a nice combination forcing Winner to retreat. Winner lands a low kick but it’s soon answered by Njokuani. Njokuani with body shots as he takes over once again, keeping him guessing. Njokuani looks for the takedown but it’s stuffed and the pair exchange positions up against the fence. Winner with a left hook from the clinch but Njokuani soon reverses it and gets off with a couple of nice strikes himself. Njokuani lands a series of nice kicks as Winner picks up the pace as he moves forward. Winner’s looking foe a finish but Njokuani moves out of range and sees it out. MMABay scores the round 10-9 Njokuani.

Jeff Hougland vs. Donny Walker (135-pound division limit)
Round two: Both men exchange body kicks once again but neither man looks more aggressive than the other. Hougland starts to get off more, landing kicks to the legs and punches before landing a spinning back-fist. Walker keeps pushing forward looking for a power shot. Hougland looks for the takedown but Walker stuffs it. Walker lands a nice left hook but Hougland scores with a knee to the body. Hougland lands repeated jabs to the chin before landing a left hook and pulling guard for a guillotine. Really close to getting the tap but Walker hangs on valiantly. MMABay scores the round 10-9 Hougland.
Round three: Walker out fast in the third looking to get the finish. Walker pushes Hougland up against the fence and lands a nice knee and elbow from the clinch. Walker gets top position and looks to land elbows from half-guard. Hougland with an armbar attempt but he’s dropped on his head by Walker with a slam and he escapes. Hougland stays active off his back and looks for the submission but the referee stands them up. Hougland attempts the takedown but it’s stuffed and Walker looks for a choke. Hougland rolls him over and looks to land ground and pound from the guard of Walker. The two men keep exchanging on the ground but time is running out for Walker to win this one. MMABay scores the round 10-9 Walker.
Final result: Jeff Hougland, unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27).
