The UFC handed out their customary bonus awards following the UFC 132 event tonight in Las Vegas, Nevada to the fighters who put on outstanding performances on the night and they certainly had their work cut out when it came to narrowing the field.
The “Knockout of the Night” award went to former WEC welterweight champion, Carlos Condit for his stunning flying knee followed by ground and pound against Dong Hyun Kim, while the “Submission of the Night” award went to the surprising former light heavyweight champion, Tito Ortiz who locked up a guillotine to choke out Ryan Bader.
“Fight of the Night” honours when to the bantamweight main event pair of current champion, Dominick Cruz and title challenger, Urijah Faber. Both men engaged in an entertaining and speedy brawl for twenty five minutes with Cruz eventually getting his hand raised by the judges. All four award winners picked up $75,000 each.
