ProElite officially announces it’s back and has signed Andrei Arlovski and Mark Ellis

Controversial MMA entity, ProElite has officially announced it’s rebirth today along with the signings of two very different heavyweights in the form of former UFC champion, Andrei Arlovski and newcomer to the sport, Mark Ellis.
The two fighters are thought to have signed multi-fight contracts as the promotion looks to build a solid roster of fighters to fill it’s future cards, kicking off with an August 27th date in Hawaii.
Arlovski has hit rock-bottom of late after suffering a trio of knockout losses at the hands of Fedor Emelianenko, Brett Rogers and Sergei Kharitonov. He hasn’t picked up a win since he stopped Roy Nelson back in October 2008.
Meanwhile, Ellis will be making his MMA debut and could make quite the status if he can put his six-foot-five, 255 pound frame to good use inside the cage. He is also the 2009 NCAA Division I heavyweight wrestling champion and is currently training at the American Kickboxing Academy alongside the likes of Cain Velasquez and Daniel Cormier. We wait with baited breath who these two will be matched up with.
