The news comes via the Telegraph after speaking to a source close to the Las Vegas based promotion. It’s unclear how the UK fans will take news of a main event like this which seems to have a ‘Fight Night’ feel to it rather than a numbered Pay-Per-View.
Leben is coming off an impressive 27-second win over Wanderlei Silva at UFC 132 on July 2nd, knocking “The Axe Murderer” out in devastating fashion. Prior to that he’d come up empty handed against Brian Stann.
As for Munoz, “The Pilipino Wrecking Machine” got his act together after a tough first round to defeat Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu master, Demian Maia at UFC 131 in June. He’s currently on a three-fight winning streak which also includes wins over Aaron Simpson and C.B. Dollaway.
