UK lightweight, Andre Winner has become the latest 155 pounder to be axed from the UFC’s roster following his UFC 132 loss to Anthony Njokuani on July 2nd in Las Vegas, Nevada. The loss was his third in a row after going down at the hands of Nik Lentz and Dennis Siver previously. Prior to that run he’d knocked out Roli Delgardo and won a unanimous decision over Rafaello Oliveira.
He made his way onto the Las Vegas based promotions roster after a stint on season nine of “The Ultimate Fighter”, reaching the finals where he faced Ross Pearson. He lost the fight in what was a very close decision.
