Strikeforce Challengers 18 lined up for August 12th in Las Vegas, Nevada

t has today been revealed that the Strikeforce Challengers 18 event is expected to take place on August 12^th at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The news comes via MMAJunkie.com who also learned Zuffa LLC has made an application for a promoters licence with the Nevada State Athletic Commission under the Strikeforce name, an issue which will be addressed at a June 27^th meeting.
Despite becoming a travelling show for the California based promotion over the past couple of years it is expected that all future ‘Challengers series’ events will take place under the bright lights of Las Vegas. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this as we get it.
