B.J. Penn becomes the latest fighter to slam Nate Marquardt: “A true martial artist would never consider cheating”

Former UFC lightweight champion, B.J. Penn has become the latest fighter to slam former middleweight title contender, Nate Marquardt after he admitted to undergoing a course of treatment for low testosterone, saying as far as he’s concerned a true martial artist would never cheat like that.
Posting via his Twitter page, Penn said:
All this testosterone replacement therapy stuff is total BS. A true martial artist would never consider cheating! Fighters on roids=blue collar crime Coaches of fighters on roids=white collar crime. Everyone has to come together and get this “ped” cancer out of our sport! If you can’t do it of carbs, fats, proteins and vitamins and minerals you’re weak!
The interesting thing is that with a good percentage of fans calling for the reinstatement of Marquardt and Penn now fighting at 170 pounds it’s not inconceivable to see these two face off inside the octagon, especially if the promotion looks to capitalise on this newly created bad-blood. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this as we get it.
