What, you're still talking about UFC 130?
"Rampage vs. Hamill" is officially in the books (boo!) but the good news is that The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 13 Finale is just around the corner (hooray!), and with it may come the next lightweight division number one contender.
"Guida vs. Pettis" takes place on Saturday, June 4, 2011, live on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET from "The Pearl" at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. In fact, it's the second mixed martial arts telecast in what is currently a span of six consecutive weekends featuring a major UFC or Strikeforce event.
In short, it's a great time to be a fight fan.
TUF 13 Finale will be headlined by the last man to hold the WEC lightweight title, Anthony Pettis, as he tries to prove he can run with the big dogs under the UFC banner by taking on energetic caveman Clay "The Carpenter" Guida.
Also featured on the "Sin City" fight card is a battle for the "six figure contract" between the top two contestants from the Spike TV reality show. Expect those finalists to be announced when the promotion finalizes its upcoming fight card following the conclusion of TUF 13 this Wednesday night (June 1).
