UFC provisionally book the Nottingham Ice Arena UK for October 15th

Signs that the UFC will be visiting the UK in 2011 have begun to surface today after a report stated the Las Vegas based promotion has provisionally booked the Nottingham Ice Arena for October 15^th.
According to ThisIsNottingham.co.uk a source close to the arena revealed the news earlier today although the city is still likely to face opposition from Liverpool.
If the event is to take place in Nottingham it would likely put a smile on the face of former UFC welterweight number one contender, Dan Hardy who hails from the city. “The Outlaw” is on a three fight losing streak and is in desperate need of a win.
