Brazilians try to be the king but the "Ace" is back.
Rich Franklin will return to the cage, once again, to take on Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at the upcoming UFC 133 event set to go down on August 6, 2011, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The promotion announced the booking on its Twitter account.
Franklin was last seen struggling with the size of mammoth light heavyweight Forrest Griffin back at UFC 126 on Feb. 5 in "Sin City."
The former middleweight champion was sent back to the middle of the 205-pound pack after that deflating loss and the cold numbers reveal he hasn't put together a winning streak since Sept. 2008.
He did manage to escape healthy, however, and he'll try to get back on the horse and ride in "The City of Brotherly Love."
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira is teetering on the edge of relevance -- and maybe employment -- after consecutive losses to hot prospects Ryan Bader and Phil Davis, respectively.
His downfall in both fights was his wrestling, or more specifically his lack of takedown defense.
That won't be an issue in this fight, as the stellar boxing skills of "Minotoro" will finally get the chance to be on display against the accurate and always dangerous hands of Franklin.
