UFC 133: Brian Ebersole vs Dennis Hallman fight booked for August 6

143 fights.
That's how many bouts Brian Ebersole and Dennis Hallman have between them in their respective mixed martial arts careers (enough to make them legitimate tough guys). However, throughout all those battles not once have they crossed paths ... until now.
Dana White announced that "Bad Boy" and "Superman" will hook 'em up at the upcoming UFC 133 event to be held on August 6 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Ebersole will ride into "The City of Brotherly Love" on an eight-fight win streak, including spoiling Chris Lytle's welterweight title aspirations in his Octagon debut back on Feb. 27.
The longtime veteran drew a tough match-up in his debut with the world's largest fight promotion but made the most of it, knocking off "Lights Out" and winning "Fight of the Night" in the process.
His reward is a bout against the one and only "Superman."

Dennis Hallman has been building his reputation as a knockaround guy since the late 90s, with his most notable wins coming against UFC Hall of Famer and former Welterweight Champion Matt Hughes.
The American boasts 33 career submission wins, two of which came at the expense of Hughes. And although there were brief calls for a third and final fight between the two as their careers seemingly wind to a close, that notion never picked up enough steam to come to fruition.
Instead, Hallman will square off against Ebersole in a scrap of two welterweights who deserve a lot more respect than they're getting.
Ready for war?
UFC 133 is set to go down on August 6, 2011, from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Vitor Belfort vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama is set for the main card, as well as a middleweight throwdown between Jorge Rivera and Alessio Sakara.
