Dana White reveals Jon Jones will take on former friend Rashad Evans in September or October

UFC President, Dana White has revealed in the past twenty-four hours that current light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones will defend his title against former friend and training partner, Rashad Evans in September or October of this year.
Dana appeared on The Underground forum yesterday evening and fielded a number of questions from fans of the sport. When asked for a date regarding the Jones/Evans bout he simply said “Sept or Oct.”
Jones became the youngest ever champion in UFC history when he defeated Mauricio “Shogun” Rua just last month. The win came at the expense of his former friend, Evans, and the pair have ensued in a bitter war of words which also involved trainer Greg Jackson. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this as we get it.
