Bellator 42 weigh in results for 'Mann vs Arocho' on April 23

The official weigh-in event for Bellator 42 took place today (April 22, 2011) in advance of tomorrow night's card, which airs live on MTV2 at 9 p.m. ET, in Concho, Oklahoma.
Of the 16 fighters who weighed in, 14 of them made weight successfully. Main card fighter Josh Arocho came in 1.4 pounds overweight and he'll have two hours to drop the weight. On the undercard, Chris Bell weighed in a whopping 4.6 pounds over the 186 pound limit (even after disrobing). He will not be medically allowed to cut that much weight in two hours so he'll likely have to forfeit a percentage of his fight purse to Bellator season one middleweight finalist Jared Hess if Hess agrees to a catchweight fight.
The main event of Bellator 42 will feature a featherweight bout between top free agent signee Ronnie Mann and journeyman fighter Josh Arocho.
The light heavyweight tournament will also be continuing as semifinalists Richard Hale, D.J. Linderman, Tim Carpenter and Christian M'Pumbu vie for a shot at the inaugural Bellator light heavyweight title as well as the enticing $100,000.
Main Card:
205 lbs.: Richard Hale (205.2) vs. D.J. Linderman (205)
145 lbs.: Ronnie Mann (145.6) vs. Josh Arocho (147.4)*
205 lbs.: Tim Carpenter (205) vs. Christian M'Pumbu (201.4)
135 lbs.: Luiz Alberto Nogueira (133.2) vs. Jerod Spoon (135.8)
Preliminary Card:
145 lbs.: Owen Evinger (144.2) vs. Brandon Shelton (145.8)
185 lbs.: Chris Bell (190.6)** vs. Jared Hess (185.6)
135 lbs.: Shane Howell (134.2) vs. Mark Oshiro (135.6)
265 lbs.: Mark Holata (260.5) vs. Tracy Willis (226.5)
*Arocho has two hours to drop 1.4 pounds
**I don't think Bell is legally allowed to drop four pounds in two hours. He'll likely have to forfeit at least 10% of his purse.
