UFN 24 – Christian Morecraft chokes out trash talking Sean McCorkle in the second round for his first octagon win

UFC heavyweight slugger, Christian Morecraft tonight picked up his first win inside the octagon tonight at UFC Fight Night 24 in Seattle, Washington, defeating the trash talking Sean McCorkle in the second round of their preliminary card bout.
Big leg kick to begin from Morecraft lands before clinching and pushing McCorkle up against the fence. Morecraft looks for the takedown but he can’t get it at this stage. McCorkle reverses the situation and winds up on top of Morecraft and looking to go to work with shots to the body. Morecraft rolls for the leg lock and gets it but uses the move to gain top position himself. Big elbows land from Morecraft from top position before he backs out and stands back up kicking at the legs. Morecraft engages again and moves to half-guard this time when he lands a series of strikes including some nasty elbows. MMABay scores the round 10-9 Morecraft.
Both men swing wildly to begin the second before Morecraft pushes McCorkle up against the fence. Morecraft releases and gets off with a series of big strikes before the two wins up on the ground with Morecraft in a good position. Big punches land from Morecraft as he pins McCorkle up against the fence. Morecraft lets him up before pushing him up against the fence where he looks dominant. A low blow lands from Morecraft. The pair restart and Morecraft pushes forward but gets tagged. McCorkle looks for the takedown but it’s stuffed easily and Morecraft secures a standing guillotine. Morecraft chokes him out cold.
