Scott Coker reveals we might not see Dan Henderson again until the fall when he’ll defend his light heavyweight title

Strikeforce CEO, Scott Coker has today revealed that the promotions light heavyweight champion, Dan Henderson will probably not be seen again until the final quarter of the year when he’ll defend his title against the winner of next month’s clash between Gegard Mousasi and Mike Kyle.
Speaking via MMAWeekly.com, Coker said:
“Gegard fighting Mike Kyle is going to be the front runner to the title fight against Dan Henderson. I think that fight will happen some time in the fall.”
There has been rumors about “Hendo” going head-to-head with formerly ranked number one fighter in the world, Fedor Emelianenko over the summer months, something the American seems keen to put together if the promotion are willing. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this as it comes in.
