Dave Batista rumoured to be making his MMA debut with Strikeforce during the month of May

Former WWE heavyweight champion, Dave Batista has tonight been linked with a possible mixed martial arts debut in May under the Strikeforce banner after a source within the promotions ranks revealed they were close to signing him.

“After talking with a source within Strikeforce, Kalin Johnston has reported that the current plan is for Dave Bautista to debut this May inside the promotion.  Although nothing is official, both parties seem to be on track to making this happen. “

Batista had been rumoured to meet MMA legend, Ken Shamrock on the BAMMA 6 card in London, England during the month of May although it’s unlikely he’ll feature on both cards. Stay tuned to MMABay for more on this situation as we get it.
