The opening fight of the main card of UFC 127: "Penn vs. Fitch" featured The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) veterans Kyle Noke squaring off against Chris Camozzi.
And the crowd in Sydney, Australia, were treated to a first round submission finish by their fellow countryman Kyle Noke.
Camozzi came out aggressive, pushing the pace in the early going with leg kicks and head kicks. He looked like he would control the fight as long as it remained standing.
So the Greg Jackson-trained Noke played it smart and took it to the floor.
As soon as they hit the mat, it seemed Noke was in full mount. The end came shortly thereafter.
Star-divide
Camozzi did what he could to combat his opponent's superior positioning, but was simply outgunned and over-matched.
Once Noke took his back and locked on a body triangle, the rear naked choke that came shortly after was academic.
The tap came just one minute, 35 seconds into the opening round.
Not a bad night's work for Noke, who pushes his win streak to five.
