In a recent interview with USA Today:
"I will defend my belt. I will fight for the belt, (but) I'm just thinking it's another fight. ... I don't like to put the weight on my back. I train a little bit more stand-up skills ... I think his stand-up skills are a little better (than King Mo's), and he has heavy hands. I think the most part of the thing is that he has a lot of experience, more than me and King Mo. He always gets prepared. He's a tough guy. ... We figured it out, and on the day of the fight, everything's going to be in the right place."Although he's a well-rounded mixed martial artist, it's no secret what Dan Henderson's gameplan usually is when he steps in the cage. One need only ask Michael Bisping about the damage "Hendo" can do when he launches his missile for a right hand and it hits its mark. It's for this reason, Rafael Cavalcante is working on his stand-up skills in advance of his title defense against "Dangerous Dan" on March 5 in Columbus. Considering the fact that he trains with Team Black House, an elite training squad that includes UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, he's likely to be more than prepared by the time the opening horn sounds. Will "Feijao" do his teammates proud and bring the belt back to Brazil? Or is Henderson poised to win one more title in the twilight of his career?
