Wilson Reis (11-2 MMA, 3-2 BFC) will give it another go.
The two-time Bellator Fighting Championships tournament semifinalist is the latest addition to the promotion's upcoming season-four featherweight playoff.
Bellator brass recently announced the five-time promotional veteran's official entry in the tournament.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) previously reported Reis' likely involvement.
He's the sixth confirmed participant for the eight-man tourney, which kicks off in March on MTV2.
"I came up short in the first two tournaments ,and this is my chance to make things right," Reis stated in the official release. "I absolutely believe that I can win it, and that's why I decided to get involved this time around. I'm going to give it all I have, take it one fight at a time, and in every fight, do my best."
The first and only EliteXC bantamweight champion, Reis reached the semifinals in Bellator's first and second seasons, though he was ousted via decision each time. Bellatoe CEO Bjorn Rebney said the decision to give Reis a third shot was an easy one.
"Wilson's part of our family," Rebney stated. "He's been with us from the very beginning, and his overall game improves every time he enters the Bellator cage. I can't wait to see the next step in his evolution as he enters the deepest featherweight tournament we've ever had."
Straus joins Daniel Straus (14-3 MMA, 1-0 BFC), Georgi Karakhanyan (14-2-1 MMA, 2-1 SF), Kenny Foster (8-2 MMA, 1-0 BFC), Zac George (20-3 MMA, 0-0 BFC) and Eric Larkin (3-0 MMA, 1-0 BFC) as officially confirmed participants in Bellator's featherweight tournament.
The tournament, which runs over the full 12-week season, kicks off in March on MTV2. Bellator, which aired past seasons on ESPN Deportes and then FOX Sports Net, also is expected to host season-four tournaments in the lightweight, welterweight and light-heavyweight divisions.
