UFN 23 – Matt Mitrione puts Tim Hague away in the first to continue his impressive run inside the octagon

“Ultimate Fighter” season ten cast member, Matt Mitrione put on another impressive performance tonight at UFC Fight Night 23 in Fort Hood, Texas, stopping Tim Hague in the first round due to strikes to continue his run up the division’s ranks.
Mitrione with a lot of fakes to begin the fight before Hague gets off with a couple of leg kicks. Mitrione answers with one of his own. Hague catches a kick and looks for a takedown but he can’t get it. He pushes Mitrione up against the fence and lands a couple of knees to the legs but Mitrione breaks free and lands a nice right hand. The pair exchange leg kicks before Mitrione drops Hague with a punch. Head kick attempt misses from Mitrione. He drops Hague with another straight left and pours it on until the referee steps in and stops the fight.
