Jose Aldo is healthy and ready to make his first title defense against
Mark Hominick when the two square off in the co-main event of
UFC 129 in Toronto on April 30. If we take Ed Soares word for it (via
MMAWeekly.com), the champ would have fought
Josh Grispi at
UFC 125 even with a bad neck. Fortunately for "Junior," and not so fortunately for "The Fluke," his coaches talked him out of risking any further damage. Grispi would lose his number one contender spot when
Dustin Poirier backed him down and pounded him out on New Years Day. In turn, Mark Hominick was given a chance to step up to the plate and he hit a home run with a knockout win over
George Roop. Now the date is set, the champion is healthy and the 145-pound strap will be on the line. Is an overanxious Aldo an even bigger challenge for "The Machine?" Or does this make him vulnerable?
