Rani Yahya’s coach pleased with his domination of Mike Brown, ‘The Korean Zombie’ could be next

Fresh off a very impressive performance at UFC Fight Night 23 last weekend, featherweight contender Rani Yahya seems keen to keep the momentum going as the Brazilian prospect seems to be lobbying for a fight with ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan Sung Jung.
Tatame.com caught up with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sensation Yahya’s training camp in Hawaii as the featherweight recouperated from his fight with Mike Brown in Fort Hood, Texas last weekend. Yahya’s coach Ataide Jr. said he was pleased with his fighter’s performance and that Yahya may indeed facing his original opponent ‘The Korean Zombie’ when he returns saying:
“We have planned to fight the Korean, but the boy did a pretty good job on that fight. He knew Mike could catch him so he used his Jiu-Jitsu, which is his origin, and managed to block him. I thought it was a great fight.”
“Rani is on the right track, he’s a professional. He’s a UFC fighter, not a Jiu-Jitsu athlete. He was talking to Joe Silva and I think he’s on the mood for the Korean.”
Yahya looked great as he dominated former WEC featherweight champion Brown for three rounds to take a comfortable decision victory and announce himself a true contender in the division. A potential match-up between Chan Sung Jung and Rani Yahya could be very interesting after Yahya ended his own bad run of form to beat Brown last weekend,
