Mike Brown receives a final shot to make it in the UFC octagon, healing at home from a torn ligament in his hand

Former WEC featherweight champion, Mike Brown appears set to receive one last chance to make it with Las Vegas based MMA promotion, the UFC, after suffering back-to-back losses in the month of January against talented prospects.
The news comes via his manager, Richie Guerriero who told MMAFighting.com that he has been contacted by the promotion and told he would be required in the future.
The American Top Team trained star has lost four of his last six fights including defeats at the hands of Jose Aldo, Diego Nunes and Rani Yahya, the latter of which he stepped in at short notice for the injured Chan Sung Jung. The fighter is currently at home nursing a torn ligament in his left hand following surgery.
