Chris Leben thinks five-round non-title fights are good for the sport and the fans

UFC middleweight slugger, Chris Leben has been giving his thoughts on being involved in the first ever five-round non-title main event fight in the history of the Las Vegas promotion, explaining it’s not only good for the sport, but good for the fans as well.
Speaking during this week’s edition of Inside MMA, Leben said:
“Five round fights are better for the sport. I might complain about them, but it’s good for the fans. The fans don’t have to fight them, I do! Everything aside, I think it’s good for the sport, I really do.”
Leben is coming off an impressive 27-second win over Wanderlei Silva at UFC 132 on July 2nd, knocking “The Axe Murderer” out in devastating fashion. Prior to that he’d come up empty handed against Brian Stann. He’ll take on powerhouse wrestler, Mark Munoz at UFC 138 on November 5th in Birmingham, England.
