TUF 14 begins shooting Friday 10th June with thirty-two hopefuls in Las Vegas

It has been revealed that the fourteenth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” has begun shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada early Friday 10th June with thirty-two hopefuls in the mix for two six-figure contracts, meaning that there will be no wildcard slots this time around.
The following press release was sent to MMABay.co.uk earlier today by SPIKE TV
The fourteenth season of Spike TV’s popular original series, The Ultimate Fighter, will feature 32 of the best up-and-coming mixed martial artists in the featherweight and bantamweight divisions competing for a six-figure contract with the preeminent mixed martial organization in the world, the Ultimate Fighting Championship®. This marks the first time these two divisions have been featured on the show. As in prior seasons, 16 of these competitors must win a preliminary bout to gain a place in the Ultimate Fighter House, one step closer to their ultimate goal, whereas the losers of these bouts are sent home.
Michael Bisping and Jason “Mayhem” Miller will coach the hopefuls for six weeks starting today with the debut episode set to debut on SPIKE TV at some point in September. The two men will then go head-to-head themselves on the season finale in December in a fight that will go a long way to determining the middleweight title picture.
