Heavy hitting welterweight, John Howard has this week collected his pink slip from those at UFC headquarters after picking up a trio of losses in a row inside the octagon over the past twelve months.
The news was confirmed to MMAWeekly.com by Howards manager, Malki Kawa of First Round Management earlier today.
Howard had opened up his octagon career in sparkling fashion, defeating the likes of Chris Wilson, Tamdan McCrory, Dennis Hallman and Daniel Roberts to put together a four-fight winning streak with the promotion. Recently however he’s fallen on harder times and came up short just a few weeks back when he faced Matt Brown on the UFC on Versus 4 card.
