UFC on Versus 4's four-fight main card set

The four-fight televised main card for next month's UFC on Versus 4 event is set.

Co-headlining the Versus-televised show are welterweights Nate Marquardt (31-10-2 MMA, 10-4 UFC) vs. Anthony Johnson (9-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and heavyweights Pat Barry (6-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) vs. Cheick Kongo (15-6-2 MMA, 8-4-1 UFC).

UFC on Versus 4 takes place June 26 at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh. It makes the UFC's debut in Steel City.

Also on the main card are welterweights Martin Kampmann (17-5 MMA, 8-4 UFC) vs. John Howard (14-6 MMA, 4-2 UFC) and heavyweights Matt Mitrione (4-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) vs. Christian Morecraft (7-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC).

Following a recent UFC 128 win over Dan Miller, Marqaurdt first hinted at the drop from 185 pounds to 170 pounds. A former middleweight King of Pancrase and one-time UFC title challenger, Marquardt had mixed results in recent bouts with a 2-2 mark in his past four outings.

Johnson, meanwhile, represents one of the division's bigger athletes. "Rumble" returned to action in March after a 16-month injury layoff and outwrestled Dan Hardy en route to a unanimous-decision win. He's now 4-1 over his past five fights, and the lone loss came to perennial contender Josh Kocheck in a "Fight of the Night" performance.
