Anthony “Rumble” Johnson happy to fight anyone in the welterweight division from B.J. Penn to Joe Schmo

UFC welterweight monster, Anthony “Rumble” Johnson has said he’s down to fight anyone at 170 pounds right now after taking eighteen months out due to injury before comprehensively defeating Dan Hardy just last month, adding a fight with B.J. Penn is the one that interests him most at the minute.
Speaking via FightHype.com, Johnson said:
“Yeah, I’m willing to get in with BJ, Joe Schmo, everybody for the right price. I will fight Penn in a heartbeat if the price is right. My kicks and hands are never going to leave me. I’m starting to become a more well-rounded fighter, and now I’m using my wrestling and people are upset because they have never seen it. They are upset and act like it’s the end of the world because I used something that I never used before. I think if the fans want to watch all standup, they should watch boxing or kickboxing. They shouldn’t watch MMA. Whenever they want me back (laughing). I will fight anybody, win, lose or draw. I always give it my best no matter what. I’m down to fight whoever.”
Penn was left without an opponent after Jon Fitch picked up an injury in training last week. Former WEC welterweight champion, Carlos Condit was the first fighter to offer to fill in for the man from AKA but it seems a potential fight with “The Prodigy” has got more than one fighters juices flowing.
