Bellator Returns To Caesars Atlantic City for Bellator 83

After an incredible start to Bellator’s Seventh Season that saw New York’s own Lyman Good capture an impressive Welterweight Tournament Quarterfinal victory in front of a sold out Caesars Atlantic City crowd, the promotion returns to The Garden State for Bellator 83 on Friday, December 7th from the historic Caesars Atlantic City. The night will feature the Bellator Season 7 Lightweight Tournament Finals, the return of Jessica “Evil” Eye, along with a host of preliminary fights featuring some the best talent from around the globe.

Tickets for Bellator 83 are on sale now and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or at the Caesars Box Office. Tickets are priced from $52-$165. The event will broadcast LIVE starting at 8 p.m. EST on MTV2 and in commercial-free HD on EPIX. The preliminary card, featuring some of the area’s top local talent will be streamed LIVE and FREE on Spike.com starting at 6 p.m. EST. “With six sold-out bouts and national coverage on MTV2, Caesars Atlantic City has seen tremendous benefit from an amazing partnership with Bellator Fighting Championships and Bellator 83 should be no different,” said Don Marrandino, Eastern Division President for Caesars Entertainment. “After a sold out Bellator 74 that had the Caesars crowd on its feet, coming back to Caesars Atlantic City was an easy decision,” said Bellator Chairman & CEO Bjorn Rebney.

“Our Lightweight Tournament is stacked, and the winner will walk away with a tournament prize of $100,000 and a guaranteed title shot for our coveted Lightweight Championship.” The Bellator Season 7 Lightweight Tournament will begin October 19th, and is headlined by Rich Clementi, Tiger Sarnavsky, Rene Nazre and Ricardo Tirloni. Jessica Eye will also make her long awaited return to the Bellator cage. Already 8-1 in her young career, “Evil” Eye is looking to notch another win in front of a raucous Atlantic City crowd. More information regarding the Bellator 83 fight card will be released in the coming weeks.
