Vitor Belfort vs Cung Le possible for UFC 139 on Nov. 19 in San Jose

Former Strikeforce middleweight champion and movie star Cung Le has been openly lobbying for a spot in the UFC and more specifically, a slot on the UFC 139 fight card on Nov. 19 in San Jose, California.
It appears he's getting his wish.
That's because Vitor Belfort brings news via his official website that he will return to the Octagon against the flashy kickboxer in Le's own backyard at the HP Pavilion. The steady demise of Strikeforce continues.
Belfort was last seen completely destroying Japanese judo player Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 133, sending him to his third straight loss and tucking tail down to the welterweight division.
"The Phenom's" quest to work his way back to a 185-pound title shot continues with the most unlikely of opponents.
Cung Le hasn't been seen and hardly heard from since avenging a knockout loss to Scott Smith back in June 2010. That win marked just his third fight in as many years and the road seemed clear for a full commitment to Hollywood.
In fact, "The Human Highlight Reel" openly admitted he would only accept another mixed martial arts bout if it was to take place inside the Octagon.
Well, he's got his wish, but it's one hell of a tough match-up. Is Le getting himself into something he can't handle here?
UFC 139 is set to go down at the HP Pavilion on Nov. 19 in San Jose, California. Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos for the heavyweight title was originally set to headline the card until it was moved up a week for the UFC on FOX event on Nov. 12.
