UFC middleweight champion,
Anderson Silva has been giving his thoughts on his
UFC 134 clash with
Yushin Okami later this month in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, explaining he’s ready to go and already excited about stepping into the octagon against the Japanese powerhouse.
Speaking to MMABay via conference call, Silva said:
“I’m not under pressure. I’ve been training for a while with the best for it, and I don’t feel any pressure. I train with the best guys in the world, I’m ready to go. I’m excited about this fight.”
“All fights we do helped us to make it here and deserve all the support of the fans, and it’s nice to fight here be recognized… It’s a thrill fighting at home. Each fight is different. Okami is a great fighter. I had no experience in the cage, but now I’ve got some more weapons.”
Silva will face off with Okami at UFC 134 on August 27
th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and will be looking to avenge an earlier disqualification loss to the Japanese powerhouse prior to their arrival in the octagon. Will Silva prove a point in this one and take another step closer to greatness or will Okami bring his run to an end?
