DREAM 17 – Gerald Harris vs. Kazuhiro Nakamura pencilled in for September 24th in Saitama, Japan

A middleweight bout between former star of the UFC’s octagon, Gerald Harris and Japanese veteran, Kazuhiro Nakamura has been pencilled in for the DREAM 17 show on September 24^th at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
A source close to the situation revealed the news to MMAJunkie.com earlier today, saying verbal agreements are in place at this time and contracts will be issued shortly.
Harris rebounded from his latest disappointment when he picked up a unanimous decision win over Strikeforce veteran, Anthony Ruiz at Tachi Palace Fights 9 in May. It ended a two fight skid which saw him lose at the hands of Maiquel Falcao and James Head.
Nakamura, a veteran of most of the major promotions from the past ten years, is enjoying a two fight winning streak after defeating Karl Amoussou and Hidehiko Yoshida at DREAM.15 and Astra, respectively.
