UFC 132 – Chael Sonnen predicts a brutal knockout win for Chris Leben over Wanderlei Silva

UFC middleweight contender, Chael Sonnen has been adding fuel to the fire when it comes to his rivalry with former PRIDE champion, Wanderlei Silva, predicting “The Axe Murderer” will come up short in spectacular fashion when he goes head to head with Chris Leben this weekend at UFC 132.
Posting via his Twitter page, Sonnen said:
“Wanderlei, he can be pleasing to watch. He goes out and he’ll mix it up for a little bit. Eventually, Wanderlei’s fights all end the same. The referee pulling his mouthpiece out and a doctor shinning a flashlight in his eyes.”
“I think it’ll be a pretty fun match to watch, but I don’t think it’s going to be ultra competitive. I think it’s going to be Chris Leben.”
Wanderlei hasn’t seen action since February 2010 when he pulled off a close decision win over Michael Bisping at UFC 110 on his middleweight debut. He was due to fight Yoshihiro Akiyama later that year but a string of injuries forced him to withdraw. Stay tuned to MMABay for more build-up to this one as we get it.
