Scott Coker reveals Tyron Woodley and Tarec Saffiedine will likely contest the Strikeforce welterweight title

Strikeforce CEO, Scott Coker has revealed that the successful welterweight duo competing last night in Chicago, Illinois, Tyron Woodley and Tarec Saffiedine, will likely contest the vacant title at some point in the not so distant future, adding they looked to be on good form n the night.
Speaking at the post-fight press conference, Coker said:
“That’s something we’re going to go back to the office and have a conversation internally (about). But I would think that Tyron and Tarec are going to be frontrunners for that vacant title when it gets done. They both looked great tonight.”
Both men looked impressive last night for very different reasons, Woodley grappling and controlling UK heavy hitter, Paul “Semtex” Daley for three rounds while Saffiedine out-struck another knockout artist in the form of Scott Smith just minutes before. The two men fought earlier this year with Woodley walking away with a decision win. Did these two do enough in your mind to warrant a shot at the 170 pound title?
