Report: Toney vs. Shamrock rules may vary by round

With his boxing career stagnant, Toney has been trying to talk his way into high-profile MMA fights over the past two years. Toney succeeded in getting a fight with Randy Couture, but failed to even throw a punch. He failed to lure Quinton “Rampage” Jackson into a bout at all.
Hpwever, yesterday BJPenn.com reported and MMA Fighting later confirmed that Ken “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” Shamrock and James “Lights Out” Toney have agreed to fight each other in an MMA bout this year. "The earliest date as I know it would be late September, and the latest would be late October," said Toney's trainer Trever Sherman, who added that Texas, California and Nevada were the three potential sites discussed, with Texas as the most likely destination.
Now a report has come out saying the rules may vary with each round. It is highly unlikely that any of the above ACs would even consider a bout with varying rules.

Tony vs Shamrock: "Mixed Rules" each RD has different stipulations. RD1 stand up only, next RD MMA & so on. They still have to negotiate.
