Speaking via MMAFighting.com Gregory Sirb, the executive director of the state’s athletic commission, said:
“He was licensed. He completed all his paperwork for licensing probably a week before. I’ve been here 22 years and we do not embarrass . But we would have said, ‘drug test.’”
Marquardt is set to address the issue himself tomorrow, a time when it could all become clear as to why he didn’t receive clearance to fight and why UFC President, Dana White has been angered so much that he immediately fired him from the roster.
