Wanderlei Silva: How to achieve your dreams

It doesn't matter what people are saying. It doesn't matter what's happening in your life. Nothing can take you away from your focus.

What should your focus be? Whatever you want in your life is your focus.

And if you want something with all your heart, you will get it.

The achievement of success has different factors. First of all comes will power. Will power is the main thing. If you really want something, something will come out of that fact.

Even if you're not on the right team, or you've made a lot of mistakes, even then, if you have the will, no matter how many mistakes you have made, you may not get as far as you could have gone, but you'll get somewhere.

Now, if you surround yourself with good people, have will power, and do all the right things, you will go very far for sure.

The opportunity appears for all those who put effort into it. If you work hard, train hard, for sure the opportunity will come.

My parents taught me to work hard, to put effort into things. to enjoy the more simple things of life.

I had a lot of friends, I would play out in the street.

I loved video games but I didn't have a video game player. So I would hang out with thte kids who had a videogame player, to see if I could come over to play it.

That was the thing I learned the most. And thank God I bring it with me until today. It's the ability to make friends.

Nothing can give for you what fighting can give. The respect. Whatever how much money you have, fighters have a different position in society. Everybody looks up to fighters. They look up to us, They do.

That's something unique.

Our sport is the hardest sport in the world. It's the hardest sport in the world.

We go in there to fight. For us it's normal.

Let's take advantage of all this. Let's stick with it. Let's not waste our time with other things. Let's eat, train, and sleep.

That's it.

If I'm going to leave something behind, if I'm going to leave a message, or a lifestyle, it's to never surrender in the face of adversity. You can never surrender yourself.

Even in the fight, you always have to go a little further. A little more, a little more, a little more. In the "little more" you will last much longer than you thought you could. Believe in your dreams. And work hard for them.

Surround yourself with people who help you go on the right path. And let's get to work. Because God helps those who rise early. Right?
