Brad Pickett says Dominick Cruz would be a tough fight but he thinks he has one of the better chances to beat him

UK bantamweight stand-out, Brad Pickett has been speaking about what a tough ask it will be for anyone to defeat current UFC champion, Dominick Cruz inside the octagon now that he has a head of steam, although the Brit is quick to add that out of everyone he feels he has one of the better chances to get the job done.
Speaking via ESPN.co.uk, Pickett said:
“Stylistically, Cruz is one of the hardest fights, obviously, he’s the champion. He’s very elusive on his feet, good wrestling. But out of the top 10, I’ve got one of the better chances of beating him because of my style.”
“I don’t think anyone will ever beat him on a decision, he’s hard to hit, he’s good at scoring points. If it goes five rounds, he’s always going to win that fight. You need to put him away, and I’m dangerous with my hands. Out of the top 10, I’m one of the few who could put him away.”
Cruz goes one-on-one with former featherweight champion, Urijah Faber this weekend at UFC 132 in Las Vegas, Nevada, looking to avoid the one and only defeat he’s suffered in his mixed martial arts career to date. Will he get past “The California Kid” at the second time of asking?
