UFC Quick Quote: Phil Davis says 'bring on' a five round non-title fight with Rashad Evans

-- Fortunate fans were able to pepper Phil Davis with questions for about an hour yesterday (May 27, 2011) before the UFC 130 weigh-ins. And the surging UFC light heavyweight contender revealed that he isn't afraid of five round non-title fights. At least that's the indication he gave when asked about rumors that his upcoming main event fight with Rashad Evans at UFC 133 in Philadelphia could be the first non-title five rounder in UFC history. Davis stepped in to take on "Suga" this fall (Aug. 27, 2011) when 205-pound division champion Jon Jones backed out of his fight with a hand injury. Jones no longer needs surgery, but the fight between Davis and Evans remains nonetheless. UFC commentator, Mike Goldberg, also weighed in on the issue saying, "I like to keep it with title fights. We call them 'championship rounds' for a reason
